A conversation at my department's end-of-the-semester lunch:
Mary: What's that bracelet say? Black . . . ?
Jane: Black Belt.
Mary: Oh! Are you a black belt now?
Jane: Yeah, I am. I tested in February.
Mary: I didn't know that!
Jane: That's why I was so fit . . . and TIRED during February--I was training six times a week!
