The night before we came back home, I called Justin to let him know we'd be coming back. He's been taking care of our pets and bringing in the mail. It was strange--yet comforting--to hear his voice on the phone. I've been living this "family emergency" life for two weeks, not thinking much about home. I was reminded that life was going on just as normal while Mom and Dad were ill, and while Mom died.
Now we're back home. I've spent the morning cleaning the house, and I'm going to work out this afternoon with James and Justin. I need to begin learning my new form, to keep going on.
